So bad, itโ€™s good?

Presentation:

When does a cinematic experiment go wrong? Whatever that metric may be, House marks the spot. This is one of the most visually convoluted ADHD experiences I can remember, even among films in 2025. Yet this film made in 70s Japan. The maximalist editing is outrageous and the visuals have a nostalgic bloom that could appeal to Gen Alpha. This is a farce horror film, which is intentionally bad. Itโ€™s like the Sharknado of Japanese cinema, but it might be kind of cinematically enjoyable to some so maybe itโ€™s more like Rubber. I couldnโ€™t watch this brain rot and the only reason I powered through it was to provide you with stills.

Conclusion:

At what point does visualmaxxing become stupid? Thereโ€™s a reason there arenโ€™t many one chili reviews. Those are saved for special films, many of which never make the Hall of Spice. The director attempts to make a film so bad, itโ€™s good. But in this case, itโ€™s just bad. But everyone arranges their house differently, and this just might be wild enough for you.
