What if Salvador Dali painted a movie?

Presentation:

Have you wondered what it would look like if Dali made a movie? Well now you know because he works with the father of cinematic surrealism, Luis Buรฑuel, to make one of the greatest surrealist short films. Whatโ€™s incredible is that this fantastical nightmare fuel was made in 1929, and still holds up. As this is a silent film with many iterations, I strongly recommend to watch this version with Wagnerโ€™s Tristan un Isolde soundtrack, which elevates the creepiness. That is the correct way to watch this film, the other version did not do it for me and is the difference between being immersed in the 21 minute picture.

Conclusion:

Itโ€™s quite amazing the kinds of films they made in 1929. For Gen Zโ€™ers, this is an easy watch on your lunch break especially since you can watch it on public domain and YouTube for free. A match made in heaven, this avant garde film is perfect for Salvador Dali, one of my favorite painters. Legendary film influencing all of surrealism and gothic Lynchianisms in the future. In my opinion, Luis Buรฑuelโ€™s greatest contribution to cinema.
