Only Lovers Left Alive (2013)
An everlasting romance in wonderfully European gothic style.
Presentation:
Tom Hiddelston and Tilda Swinton play reunited depressed lovers spanning supernatural centuries, which become disrupted by an uncontrollable younger sister. This premise alone should give a pretty good idea of whether you will like this film. Supernatural elements and love with some conflict, this formula won't go wrong for this dark and gothic drama.
Conclusion:
As I am biased toward dark films especially gothic ones, this is a film that is hard to forget years after. It's a bit edgy for some and possible pretentiously hipster, but that's what I love about it.
