Catch Me If You Can (2002)
A compelling cat and mouse, you'll root for the mouse.
Presentation:
Tom Hanks, Leonardo DiCaprio square off in a compelling cat and mouse in a game of wits. Leonardo is charismatic and plays and likable conman. There's a certain style in the 2000s eras filmmaking that allows you to peer into a little time vault into the consciousness of 21st century movies. Rather, it may be just Steven Spielbergโs consciousness that has defined the era. In any case, this movie encapsulates that feeling.
Conclusion:
This is a great film for the time that I'd still watch today. Best of all, it's a real story with great performances and a smart script. This is one of the better films from the beginning of the 21st century and is entertaining from start to finish.
