The Town (2010)
In Boston, it’s ride or die.
Summary:
If you love heist movies, there’s a buffet of fantastic options to choose from. The Town differentiates from the others with a grittier Boston tone, though there’s no shortage of gritty heist films. A lot of people seem to love this movie, but I think it’s just average with a mediocre resolution and pointless popcorn dramas sprinkled in. What matters is the action and there are definitely incredible car sequences and bank chases, though I don’t think it reaches the iconic status of Heat or all the other heist films. A perfect film for a lazy afternoon.
