Wake me up when we get there.
Presentation:
The cinematography is pretty snooze, a movie to watch on the couch on a lazy afternoon or just to pass the time. David Harbour plays a pretty likable gruff mentor and I could barely recognize Archie Madekwe. Racing sequences are okay.
Conclusion:
This is a flick for mindless entertainment. It has nothing over racing movies like Rush or Ford vs. Ferrari. It's not totally bad, just predictable and formulaic. If you watch it expecting to get something out of it be disappointed as it will make you feel guilty for passing 2 hours. A mediocre racing film with little heart compared to better movies. Truly unexceptional especially given its budget.
