A lot of people that use film emulation probably aren't aware of the lifted shadow floor from film emulation, particularly cineon LUTs from Davinci Resolve. Clever64 reverses that. Deeper, cleaner blacks potentially offer better web uploads (it is up to you to decide as this does not guarantee aesthetically preferential results! Lifted blacks are part of celluloid film. This Rec709 technical LUT crushes any shadows in your image (under ~128 IRE in Davinci Resolve’s scopes) while not affecting anything else in your image (above ~128 IRE).
This LUT requires a Rec709 input, to be placed AFTER your Film Emulation workflow/DRT to Rec709. It should be positioned toward the END of your node tree.
